The Virginia/North Carolina Chapter of the National Society of Arts & Letters announces its Chapter Competition in DRAMA: March 21, 2009 in Charlottesville; application deadline - February 21.

Actors aged 18-29 whose permanent residence is in North Carolina or Virginia (South of Fredericksburg), or who attend school in the region. Applicants may not be under professional management.

Prizes of $1000, $600, and $200 will be awarded. The first place winner travels at Chapter expense to the National Finals in Washington, D.C. on May 14-16. First prize: $10,000.
